Platte Valley Medical Center Cardiac Support Group:  Who We Are and What We Do

The Cardiac Support Group is on

is patient led and provides members and their families a place to discuss their experiences and the challenges of heart disease with other heart patients. 

It is also a place where information pertaining to heart disease is made available for questions and discussion.  This information includes articles, guest speakers, and heart-healthy recipes.  One of the goals of the support group is to raise community awareness about heart disease, and to sponsor events which honor this goal. 

Currently the support group is sponsoring the first annual Hearts for Hearts 5K Fun Run and Walk, which is scheduled for February 15, 2014.
